::::::::课程介绍:::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::Course Introduction:::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::: This course is composed of 10 text units. In each unit we are to learn one intensive English text and one after-class reading from Intensive Reading. We will also cover two lessons of listening practice from Focus Listening. Click here to Enter the Course   For the intensive English text, we will first introduce some background knowledge of the text and its main idea and then we will come to the explanation of the text itself, some difficult sentences and important language points. To reach a better idea of the text as a whole, we will have a brief analysis of the structure of the text and its writing style. After that, we will provide follow-up exercises with some necessary explanations. In our listening course (one period), we will cover the contents in Focus Listening. During the time we will first learn how to distinguish some of the sounds that may cause confusion to us. And then we will listen to some dialogues or short passages followed by questions. We have also set aside some time for the reading activity and writing. At the time we will make some explanation of the passage in Reading Practice and do the exercises for Guided Writing at the end of the unit in our Intensive Reading. Meanwhile we will cover the reading passages in our Fast Reading book. It is our plan to deal with each unit of our lesson in 6 periods and each period takes 30-35 minutes. You are advised to follow each of these periods so that you will reach a better understanding of what we are doing and achieve better learning results. We hope that this course will put you in a good environment for English language learning and help you to acquire a good competence in English.
